ARTS & CRAFTS STUDIO (DEC. 2): On Saturday mornings, the focus is on art at the Lake Oswego Public Library (706 Fourth St.). Bring an art or craft project to work on, browse the library's collection of art and craft books, talk to other artists, explore art online or get technical help with projects and research techniques. Bring your own supplies or use the library's drawing supplies; no registration is required for the studio, which starts at 9 a.m.
RIDE THE TINSELTOWN TROLLEY (DEC. 2-3): Discover the magic of the holiday season this weekend with a yuletide ride on the historic Willamette Shore Trolley (310 N. State St.). Climb aboard for holiday lights, sweet treats, carols and more; there might even be a visit from a very special guest all the way from the North Pole. Rides depart at 1 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 6 p.m., and last about 50 minutes.
