12/31/177:15 p.m. The driver of a moving van was cited for hit and run after returning to the scene of an accident on Monroe Parkway, where a nearby gas station employee told police that the van had struck and damaged a light pole.
12/19/17 357 p.m. Plumbing parts were reported missing from a construction site.
12/19/17 4:01 p.m. Sunglasses, an iPad, a bag of clothing and paperwork that possibly included registration and insurance information was taken from an unlocked Buick Enclave on Chapin Way.
12/21/17 11:19 a.m. A man wearing a hoodie and baseball cap is suspected of taking a package from a porch on Ridgeview Lane.
12/22/17 8:43 a.m. A package of baked goods was stolen from a front porch on Nelson Court.
12/22/17 9 a.m. The manager of a convenience store on McVey Avenue told police he believed a customer had walked away with five packs of Parliament cigarettes without paying for them.
12/22/17 11:02 a.m. Building materials were reported stolen from a construction site on Cherry Lane.
12/22/17 3:22 p.m. The manager of a pizza joint on Meadows Road told police that cash had been taken from the store and that she suspected an employee might be the culprit.
12/23/17 2:36 p.m. A patio chair was stolen from the back patio of a home on Greenridge Court.
12/25/17 12:39 p.m. In a pair of thefts, a Dewalt power pack and vacuum were stolen overnight from one vehicle on Middlecrest Road and a flashlight a Mace were taken from another.
12/26/17 2:07 p.m. A package was taken from a porch on Wood Hill Court.
12/29/17 6:06 p.m. A backpack with contents worth $2,000 was reportedly stolen on Dec. 1 at Lake Grove Elementary School.
12/31/17 5:10 p.m. Two Fuji road bikes, a Diamondback mountain bike and two pairs of skis were taken from a shed on Glen Eagles Road.
12/23/17 2:43 a.m. An Acura MDX reported stolen the day before on Troon Road was found abandoned in North Portland.
12/31/17 1:02 p.m. Someone broke into the lot at Oswego Roofing on Boones Ferry Road and stole a 1996 Ford Ranger pickup. The vehicle was described as white with an Oswego Roofing logo on the side and a rack with multiple ladders over the bed. A trailer containing a pressure-washing setup was also taken.
12/19/17 11:20 a.m. A woman received a fruadulent check after selling an item on Craigslist. She held onto her property but destroyed the check.
12/20/17 11:49 a.m. A Lake Oswego man told police that he had received a phone call from his bank, alerting him that someone had tried to open an account using his personal information.
12/21/17 12:59 p.m. Employees of a school for infants and toddlers on Jean Road told police that a woman had applied to be a teacher using a false name.
12/23/17 11:08 a.m. A woman told police she received a fraudulent check for an item she was selling on Craigslist.
12/23/17 4:45 p.m. Someone used a Lake Oswego man's personal information to purchase furniture online.
12/18/17 7:26 a.m. Police received a slew of reports from residents who said someone had broken into their vehicles overnight, including a Toyota Prius, Honda Civic and Mazda Tribute on E Avenue and a Honda Pilot on Bullock Street.
12/18/17 7:35 p.m. A resident of the Robinswood group home on Christie Drive allegedly assaulted other residents and staff by hitting them with shoes and throwing drawers at them. Arrangements were made to have the juvenile removed from the home.
12/19/17 10:39 a.m. A man wearing a Santa hat appeared disoriented as he stood in the middle of the intersection at Boones Ferry and Country Club roads. His sleigh was nowhere in sight.
12/19/17 12:09 p.m. Police received reports throughout the day of more unlawful entries into motor vehicles. This time, it was a Subaru Outback on Spruce Street, a GMC Sierra on Morning Sky Court and an unidentified vehicle on Ash Street.
12/20/17 7:37 a.m. Someone broke into community mailboxes overnight near Auburn and Hopkins lanes. Later in the day, a mail carrier reported that community mailboxes had been damaged on Vermeer Drive and at least one resident there said she believes her mail was stolen.
12/21/17 11:50 a.m. Officers removed a swastika sticker they discovered on the back of a traffic sign near Third Street and A Avenue.
12/22/17 6:59 a.m. A man told police that a twentysomething guy in dark clothing and carrying a Nike backpack asked to use his cellphone to get directions. Nothing unusual about that, except the gent's pupils were large, raising suspicions that he might be on drugs.
12/22/17 9:27 a.m. The morning mail included a package containing a wallet, credit card and ID. An officer located the rightful owner and returned the belongings.
