All four golfers shoot 75 or better. Lakeridge takes third at Oswego Lake

The competition has improved in the Three Rivers League but it still hasn't caught up to the Lake Oswego boys.

The Lakers have won the first two league tournaments, most recently posting a team score of 292 on its home course at Oswego Lake Country Club.

Riley Elmes was the medalist, firing a stellar round of 70. All four of Lake Oswego's scoring golfers shot rounds of 75 or better and finished in the top-five individually.

Alex Wrenn was next with a 73, Brock Anderson shot a round of 74 and Cole Madey fired a 75.

The victory follows a win at Rose City the previous week where the team shot a combined 298.

Madey took medalist honors at that tournament with a round of 70, Wrenn shot a 74 and Anderson and Elmes tied with round of 77.

For Lakeridge, the team has finished a strong third in each tournament, coming within 10 strokes of catching West Linn for second Monday.

Jake Reiff shot a 74 at Oswego Lake, tying for the second-lowest score in the league. Timothy Lee also had a stellar round with a 77.

Cade Lawson equaled his score from his opening tournament with an 82 and Drake Freeman shot a 90.

Lakeridge will look to make up ground in the league standings Monday at Willamette Valley.

For the girls, Lake Oswego was led by Cami Dozois, who shot a round of 78. Jessica Lee shot an 89 and Claire Carler fired a 93 for the Lakers at Stone Creek.
