It's time to grab your sticks, goggles and helmets — the 2018 Lake Oswego boys and girls youth lacrosse clinics are here.

Girls Lacrosse Spring Youth Clinic

The Girls Lacrosse Spring Youth Clinic is open to girls in grades 1 to 8 and is set for 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Oswego High School stadium field.

The clinic costs $40 per player and will be led by Lake Oswego girls varsity coach Lauren Anderson and players from her 2017 state championship team.

For beginning players, the clinic will introduce newcomers to the sport of lacrosse, and teach key techniques and skills to practice prior to the start of the season.

For experienced players, the clinic will teach new strategies, new tricks and drills to get players into peak form before the 2018 season.

Players should bring their own stick, goggles, mouthguard, water bottle and waiver.

Boys Lacrosse Spring Youth Clinic

The Boys Lacrosse Spring Youth Clinic is open to boys in grades 1 to 8 and is set for 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lake Oswego High School stadium field.

The clinic costs $55 per player and will be led by the Lake Oswego boys varsity coaching staff and members of the Lakers' high school program.

For beginning players, the clinic offers the chance to get one-on-one coaching and the chance to train alongside LOHS players.

For experienced players, the clinic will offer exciting drills and skill-oriented competitions alongside LOHS coaches and varsity players.

Players should bring their own stick, helmet, mouthpiece, gloves, shoulder pads, water bottle and waiver.
