Rebecca Rudawitz and Keith Gearhart were married Feb. 1, 2014, at Lake Oswego United Methodist Church. The Rev. Daniel Wilson-Fey officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride was accompanied down the aisle by her father, David Rudawitz. She wore a candlelight fantasy ballgown in keeping with the winter faire theme. The groom, groomsmen and both fathers wore custom-made Napoleonic-era gold embellished naval coats reminiscent of Horatio Hornblower.

Sarah Sabel, the bride’s twin sister, was matron of honor. Bride’s assistants were Elaine Goldsmith and Shannon Vockrodt. Kinze Gearhart was the flower girl.

Best man was Tristan Olson, a friend of the groom’s. Lauren Baker and John Osborne were groomsmen.

Richard and Gail Milburn, the bride’s maternal grandparents from Wofford Heights, Calif., were honored guests.

The bride is the daughter of David and Linda Rudawitz of Lake Oswego. She graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 2005, Portland State University in 2009 and the Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 2012. She is a certified candidate for elder in the United Methodist Oregon-Idaho annual conference.

The groom is the son of Susan Gearhart and Bryon Gearhart, both of Chillicothe, Ohio. He graduated from Unioto High School in Chillicothe in 2003 and from Ohio State University in 2007. He is employed as a lab test engineer for Catepillar Corporation in Peoria, Ill.

The couple will reside in Peoria.
