The Lake Grove Garden Club celebrated its fifth annual Daffodil Days at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center the week of March 10. More than 100 blooming annuals were planted at the center in containers and flower beds.

Potted daffodils were distributed to more than 60 Meals on Wheels recipients. Flower arrangements and potted daffodils were placed around the center for extra spring cheer, and a group of garden club members helped serve lunch that day.

The Lake Grove Garden Club is preparing for its annual plant sale, a fundraiser that will be held April 26 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Wizer shopping center at First Street and A Avenue. Perennials, herbs, vegetable starts and hanging baskets will be available for purchase.

The club will celebrate its 90th anniversary on July 17 with a reception at Oswego Heritage House, 398 10th St.
