by: CORY MIMMS - An accident on Highway 211 left the driver of this Honda Accord shaken but uninjured. An accident on Highway 211, next to Country Christian School, had traffic backed up Wednesday, Aug. 7, around 3:50 p.m. No one was seriously injured, though one passenger was taken by ambulance to Sunnyside Medical Center.

The accident happened when two men in a Toyota Tacoma were waiting to turn off Highway 211, when a woman traveling west in a Honda Accord failed to see their brake lights and rear ended them.

The only visible damage to the Toyota was a bent rear bumper. The Honda didn’t fare as well. The hood and front bumper were crumpled and smashed, and fluid puddled under it.

Molalla firefighters cleaned up the fluid and swept the glass off the road, as the woman awaited a tow truck.

The Honda’s driver was visibly shaken at the scene but was also uninjured. As she watched the Toyota’s passenger being loaded into the ambulance, she said, “I just want him to be fine.”
