Six Molalla members received their State FFA Degrees at the convention

 Members of the Molalla High School FFA gathered for a group photo after placing high in state competitions in Redmond during spring break.

During spring break 20 Molalla FFA members attended the Oregon FFA State Convention held in Redmond.  While at convention, students attended powerful leadership workshops, served on committees, attended general sessions with keynote speakers and competed in state level contests that they had to qualify for by placing 1st or 2nd at the chapter, district and sectional level. 

Results are below:

Creed Speaking- Emilie Mendoza- 3nd in State Extemporaneous Public Speaking- Ryan Dunigan- Top Eight in State

Job Interview- Audrey Andrews- Top Eight in State

Electronic Scrapbook- Erin Swanson- 2nd in State

Marketing Plan- Ryan Dunigan, Del DeAngelis and Halie McCloud- Top Eight in State

Goat Production Proficiency- Del DeAngelis- State finalist

Star in Agriculture Placement- Del DeAngelis- State finalist

State Degree Award recipients- Kayla Burns, Seth Ettestad, Artemy Ivanov, Ryan Dunigan, Halie McCloud and John Cross

Knowledge Team- Emilie Mendoza, Malia Valenzuela, Natalee Litchfield and Darian Ettestad

Talent Contest- Emilie Mendoza and Natalee Litchfield- State Finalists
