A single-vehicle accident that occurred in the afternoon of May 17 left behind a few hundred feet of tire tracks in a field adjacent to the road after the car left the highway.

Just before the Meadowbrook bridge on Highway 211 at around 4 p.m. Wednesday, a driver appears to have left the road, driven a few hundred feet through an open dirt field, and then attempted to make it back onto the road, only to get stuck in the ditch with the vehicle perpendicular to the road.

Lt. Mike Berrington from the Molalla Fire District said the vehicle was being driven by an adult male and may have left the road due to a "medical issue" of the man.

The driver left the scene in an ambulance.
