HELPING HANDS

Colton Helping Hands will have its annual meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 4 p.m. at the Colton Community Center.

The meeting is open to the public.

PLANNING MEETING

The Molalla Planning Commission will hold a meeting at the Molalla Adult Community Center on Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. This meeting is a continuation of the Jan. 3, 2018 meeting in order to make a decision on an Appeal regarding a conditioned street improvement. The street improvement requirement is associated with a development located at 31816 S. Ona Way, Molalla, OR, 97038.

DISASTER PREP

A workshop called Disaster Preparedness for Seniors will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the Molalla Adult Community Center. Learn how to protect yourself and cope with winter weather issues. What would you do if basic services such as water, gas, electric or communications was cut off.

BOOK SALE

The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be held Jan. 19-21 at the Molalla Public Library.

SUPPORT GROUP

A new GriefShare support group series will begin on Monday, Jan. 22, at the Molalla Adult Community Center. This is a 13-week support group offering help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend. Meetings are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each Monday. ELECTION MEETING

ARTHRITIS EDUCATION

An Arthritis Education workshop will be held Tuesday, Jan. 23, from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the Molalla Adult Community Center. What is arthritis, how does it affect your body and what are some ways to manager/treat the pain? Jenn Fifer from Home Instead Senior care will be the speaker.
