Colton tracksters push through for solid marks, placings at Thursday meet in Molalla

Colton's Wyatt Earls had some solid performances at Molalla

The Colton High track team travelled to Molalla Thursday afternoon for the Mid-Valley Matchup.

Evan Rasor, Javontae and Wyatt Earls snagged individual first for the boys team, while the girls were led by Grace Dunn's second place in the 3,000.

Boys results:

100 meters – Evan Rasor (1st), 11.36, Wyatt Earls (3rd), 11.72.

4x100 relay – Colton (4th), 48.20 (Evan Rasor, Javontae Maes, Alejandro Alvarez, Wyatt Earls).

Shot put – Jaeden Branblett (2nd), 32-3, Elijah Hagler (4th), 31-5, Joseph Moore (9th), 27-7.

Discus – Elijah Hagler (3rd), 89-0, Jaeden Bramblett (85-3).

Javelin – Javontae Maes (1st), 127-10, Andy Quinn (5th) 96-7, Elijah Hagler (6th) 96-6.

High jump – Wyatt Earls (T1), 5-8, Javontae Maes (3rd), 5-6, Seth Ethington (5th), 5-2.
