Free fair starts Wednesday

At Jefferson County Fairgrounds

Admission is free, so don’t miss the popular Fair Talent Show on Wednesday and Thursday, kids’ games in the pavilion, Family Fun Night, and entertainment by the Concrete Cowboys and Box Canyon Bluegrass bands, and singer Scott Brockett.

Rodeos cost $8 per person, and there is plenty of action, including wild horse and wild donkey races.

The 4-H/FFA Livestock Auction caps off the fair on Saturday, beginning at 5 p.m., followed by the Concrete Cowboys concert at 9 p.m.

The fair’s theme is “80 Years of Cowboy Boots and Country Roots.”
