Firefighters participate in 'Burn to Learn'

Local fire district volunteers, staff and interns learn about fire behavior while burning an old house.

Participants included 16 volunteers, along with six student interns and three staff members.

"It was a great turnout, with some amazing training and learning fire behavior," noted Kasey Skaar, volunteer recruitment and retention officer.
