The title sponsor for the event is Wells Fargo Bank, which donated $1,000 for the carnival, plus is sending a team of Madras branch employees to help at the carnival. “Wells Fargo has also donated funds throughout the year for our Teen Nights,” said Joe McHaney, Kids Club director. The other event partner is the OSU Open Campus Juntos Program.

“We’re gearing up for this to be our biggest fundraiser of the year, with 30 different games for kids to play. We’ve also added bingo with prizes for the adults, and there will be food and a performance by the La Luna Folkloric Dancers Team,” McHaney said.

Games will include a cake walk, piñatas, a dunk tank, and there will be a bounce house, face painting, music, contests and much more.

Admission to the carnival is free, with people just paying for food and to play games. Game tickets are five for $1, and games cost two to three tickets. “Kids win tickets at the games and there will be a prize room with tons of prizes, where kids can cash in their tickets,” McHaney said.

Last year, McHaney said 1,000 people attended the carnival, and 100 volunteers helped put it on.

“It’s an event to celebrate our community, kids, and the Kids Club in general. It’s a day of families coming and having good food, affordable entertainment and a good time,” he said.
