Crestview Cable to sell
California Oregon Broadcasting, Inc. has entered into a contract to sell its Crestview Cable Communications business to Telephone and Data Systems Inc.
California Oregon Broadcasting, Inc. has owned Crestview Cable since 1982, when California Oregon Broadcasting, Inc. purchased it from Crestview's founder, Paul Rowan of Prineville.
Patricia C. "Patsy" Smullin, the president of California Oregon Broadcasting, Inc. said, "It has been an honor to work with the staff and customers of Crestview Cable Communications for 35 years. I will miss my company being part of the wonderful Central Oregon Region."
The closing of the transaction is expected to occur during the next few months.
Telephone and Data Systems, a Fortune 1000 Company, provides cable and wireline broadband, television and voice services to customers throughout the United States and is the owner of Bend Broadband.
