The Chehalem Park and Recreation District offers meals at the Chehalem Senior Center, 101 W. Foothills Drive.

Anyone age 60 or older and their spouse can take advantage of a hot, nutritious meal. Meals are served at 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday. Meals delivered to homes are also available.

A donation of $3 is suggested for the meals, and 1-percent milk is served with all meals. Advance reservations are required. For more information, call 503-538-1490.

Southwest omelet bake or ground beef stew, cut green beans, spinach/romaine salad, herb roll, vanilla pudding.

Jan. 16

Chicken pot pie or pork sausage with gravy over buttermilk biscuits, green peas, country coleslaw, oranges.

Jan. 17

Beef patty with gravy or baked ham with mustard sauce, Colcannon potatoes, herb carrots, rye bread, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.

Jan. 20

Closed for MLK Day

Jan. 21

Baked chicken breast or meatloaf with gravy, whipped potatoes, lima beans, cornmeal bread, frosted white cake.

Jan. 22

Chicken or tuna salad sandwich on wheat bread, cream of cauliflower soup, carrot slaw, spiced apples.
