Krohn's Appliance Service will hold third
annual diaper drive
Krohn's Appliance Service continues its third annual diaper drive and will accept donations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for the rest of the month and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays at 2207 Portland Road Suite C. The business is halfway toward its goal of 10,000 diapers.
First Federal reopens customer ballots program
First Federal's customer ballots program will continue through February, with ballots mailed out to customers in early January. First Federal customers, by their votes will determine which Yamhill Country nonprofits will share $40,000. The deadline to return ballots is Feb. 28. Last year, 85 nonprofits shared in the proceeds.
Ophthalmologist named top doctor
Dr. Dinelli Monson, who practices in Newberg at Oregon Eye Specialists, has been named to this year's "Top Doctors" list published by Portland Monthly Magazine. The list is published annually and comprised of physicians voted as leaders in their specialty by their peers.
