Nine-week marriage class offered

Newberg Christian Church will host “Dynamic Marriage,” a nine-week interactive course, beginning at 7 p.m. April 3. The course is designed to transform marriages from good to great or from hurt to healed, using a distinctive format that encourages couples to break through barriers to intimacy, not just talk about them. Mission camps open house set for April 5

World Venture Camps, the new umbrella name for Kids Missions Camp and Family Missions Camp, is inviting families and friends to an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 5 at Tilikum Retreat Center. Participants will explore a variety of games, crafts, music and international snacks during a simulated world tour of countries and cultures. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy time outdoors. Families will also have the opportunity to register for Family Missions Camp, which will be held July 18-20 at Tilikum. St. Paul Lutheran to host ‘Cool Water’ concert

SHERWOOD — Northwest Christian vocal group Cool Water will perform a concert of traditional, gospel and contemporary Christian music at 4 p.m. May 18 at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
