Spaghetti feed lunch coming April 27
North Valley Friends Church will host a spaghetti feed benefit lunch April 27 immediately following its 10:30 a.m. worship service. All proceeds will benefit the churchs scholarship fund for George Fox University students. Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available and individuals and families may take meals to go. Church plant hosting first services Sunday
Living Waters Free Methodist Fellowship in McMinnville will hold its first worship services at 10:30 a.m. Easter Sunday at Sue Buel Elementary School, 1985 S.E. Davis St. A church plant of Northside Community Church in Newberg, Living Waters belongs to the Free Methodist Church of America. The core values of the church include relationships, transformation, wholeness, stewardship and action. Living Waters places a special emphasis upon reaching and empowering the poor and the marginalized. The worship gathering is designed to be accessible to a large number of people, with a blend of old and new elements. Childrens ministries will be provided during the service. The sermon for the worship gathering is entitled Are You Whole? and based on Colossians 1:15. Good Friday service set
2nd Street Community Church will hold a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. Friday at the Chehalem Armory Center, 620 N. Morton St.
