Auction ends Thursday for winemakers learning experience

The Children's Cancer Association is hosting a charity auction learning experience with Newberg winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash, one of Oregon's first female winemakers and founder of Penner-Ash Wineries. The auction packet includes: Lunch with winemaker Penner-Ash and Kate Ayres at the winery outside Newberg; and the option to spend the day with the winemakers as they either make their final blending decisions for the 2017 estate pinot noir in June or to participate in the first ever blending of Penner-Ash chardonnay in February or March.

To participate, go online to CharityBuzz.com and enter in the search field, "Wine Blending with Lynn Penner-Ash Plus a Private Tour & Lunch at Penner-Ash Wine Cellars in Oregon." The auction is live through 6 p.m. Thursday.
