The Bruins will begin their Northwest Conference schedule with road games at Willamette Oct. 4 and at Linfield Oct. 11 before hosting Puget Sound for homecoming Oct. 18.

Pacific will visit the Stouffer Family Stadium Oct. 25, with George Fox hitting the road a week later to take on Whitworth Nov. 1.

Casey’s team will close the season with a home contest versus Lewis & Clark on Nov. 8 and a road game against Pacific Lutheran on Nov. 15.

George Fox collaborated with local Newberg company Hydro Graphics Inc. (HGI), on a helmet design that reflects the mission and values Casey set for his team when he joined the university last year, a press release said. The traditional matte blue of the helmet highlights the blue collar instinct of this team to get dirty and do hard work on the field, the release continued.

The inlay of the helmet is made of carbon fiber, a material that is woven together and reflective of Casey’s emphasis on togetherness and teamwork.

“If our team plays as well as this helmet looks,” Casey said, “we’ll be cooking with gas.”
