GFU Auxiliary presentation Friday

The George Fox University Auxiliary will present "The Highlights of the 1960s at George Fox University" during its monthly lunch meeting at noon Friday at the Canyon Commons. Autism game design camp on tap

Newberg-based FIDGETECH, a community that provides technology training for young adults on the autism spectrum, and Soma Games are partnering to host a spring break video game design camp at the end of the month. Spring Break Game Jam will be held from noon to 4 p.m. March 27-28 at the FIDGETECH office, located at Chehalem Valley Innovation Accelerator, 125 S. Elliott Road. The event is sponsored by Intel, which will make a presentation on technology opportunities at the company. Participants must be 17 years or older and will need to bring their own computer or laptop with wireless access and headphones. They will learn Unity 3D game design from members of the FIDGETECH and Soma Games teams. Camp invention discount

Camp Invention, a science camp for children in grades K-6, will return to Newberg this summer and is offering a $25 discount on registration through March 20. Crater Carnival April 8
