Della L. 'Dee' OlsonDella L. “Dee” Olson, 95 of Prineville passed away at her home on June 22, 2014. A service will be held at Prineville Christian Church at 10 a.m. on Monday June 30, 2014. Pastor Dan Parks will be officiating. Graveside services will follow at Juniper Haven Cemetery.

Dee was born on January 19, 1919 to Austin and Lillie Blanche (McCoy) Bechdoldt in Angleton, Texas. She was married to Avon L. King who preceded her in death in 1962. She was married to Thomas Olson and moved to Prineville in 1966 from Portland, he preceded her in death in 1999.

She enjoyed gardening, vegetables and flower, embroidery, quilting, loved decorating, she excelled in hospitality, and wrote poetry. Dee was an auxiliary member of the V.F.W. Post #29 and the Prineville Christian Church. She worked for Coin Millworks but was mostly a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Jones of Prineville, Connie Campbell of La Pine, Colleen McDaniel of Salem; two sons, Elton King of Lakeview and Britt King of Terrebonne; one sister, Nellie Ludiker of Eugene; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three sisters, and one brother.
