Floyd Allen Baker

Floyd Allen Baker of Prineville passed away June 17, 2014 at the age of 78. He was born August 9, 1935 to John and Lola (Dilly) Baker in Eugene, Ore.
Floyd received his education from the military while he was serving in the US Air Force. On August 4, 1978 Floyd married Susan Diane Whitted in Sweet Home, Ore. They lived in Lebanon, Ore. before moving to Prineville 20 years ago. Floyd worked in the logging industry for most of his life before retiring. He was a member of the Pentecostal church and enjoyed attending Sunday services. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, bowling, camping and horseback riding.
Floyd is survived by his wife Susan Baker; children, Dale Baker of Eugene, Ore., Darlene (Steve) Claunch of Sweet Home, Ore., John (Anne Pelham) Baker of Bend, Ore., Marilyn (Raul) Renteria of Albany, Ore., Jenny (Rusty) Ridenour of Prineville, and Danny Baker of Umatilla, Ore.; Brother, Loren (Nancy) Baker of Eugene, Ore.; sisters, Janis (Bob) Herbst of Plano, Texas, and Delores Butler of Salem, Ore.; sister in laws, Sharon (Jerre) Clements of Anniston, Ala., Sandra Betancourth of Sevierville, Tenn, and a mother in law Rita Whitted, 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Also to be mentioned his little dog Mattie and his cat Paisley.
