Dorothy Helen Forsyth of Wilsonville has died. She was 95. She will be interred with her husband, Lester Ellis Forsyth at Veteran's Cemetery in White City, Ore.

Dorothy Helen (McMaster) Forsyth of Wilsonville

died July 13, 2017. She was 95.

She was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Arthur and

Vella McMaster.

She married Lester Ellis Forsyth on Feb. 2, 1939 in

Des Moines. He died June 2, 2007.

Dorothy was a member of Faith Lutheran Church

in Rogue River and volunteered with the VFW Post

4116 in Rogue River. She was active in PTA and Boy

Scouts while raising her sons. Her hobbies included

travel, camping, sewing and golf. She had been a

resident of Wilsonville since 2007.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law

James and Deanne Forsyth of Woodburn; Ronald

and Carolyn Forsyth of Rocklin, Calif. and Gregory

and April Forsyth of Eatonville, Wash.; her nephew

Richard McMaster and his wife, Paula of Arizona;

nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her sister Margaret

Lyons; brother Earl McMaster and greatgranddaughter

Emily Waggoner.

Dorothy will be interred with her husband at

Veteran's Cemetery in White City, Ore.
