Lake Oswego softball takes out Lakeridge 9-5 on Monday

The Lakers keep their slim playoff hopes alive with the victory

Lakeridge is playing for pride.

Those two competing aims came into direct conflict on Monday, with the Lakers using a fast start and a solid finish to beat the Pacers 9-5 at Lake Oswego High School.

"I was really looking forward to it after our last game against them," said Lake Oswego junior outfielder Kelsey Deos, who went 3 for 4 at the plate and racked up four RBIs. "I've been playing a lot lately so it felt really good to come out and perform."

She had plenty of offensive help, too, with senior outfielder Lillian Harwood adding a 3 for 3 day with two RBIs and three runs scored.
