A look at the teams competing in this week's NCAA baseball regional at Oregon State. Teams are listed in order of seed.

1. Oregon State (45-10)

Coach: Pat Casey, 19th year

The Beavers:

• Have won 16 of 18.

• Led Pac-12 with a 2.15 ERA, fourth in hitting at .289.

• Are 9-0 while hosting since NCAA expanded to current super regional format and 18-3 all-time at Goss Stadium in postseason.

The Aggies:

• Seventh straight NCAA tournament appearance

• Went to CWS in 2011

• Were eliminated 3-0 by No. 2-seeded Vanderbilt in SEC tournament.

• Had 5-16 record vs. ranked teams but beat Vanderbilt 5-0 in first-round SEC tourney game. In that one, 6-1, 185 junior RH Parker Ray (1-1, 1.83 ERA) threw 3-hit shutout through 8 innings for first win.

• Hit .270 as team

• Stole 83 bases

• Beavers beat them twice at the 2009 Fort Worth regional.

The Gauchos:

• Finished 17-10 as runner-up in Big West Conference

• Won 11 of last 14

• Hit .280 as team

• Beavers took three of four there in 2012 season-opening series
