Utah is at Portland, 7 p.m. (CSNNW).

Quite a contrast: The Blazers lead the NBA Western Conference at 16-3. The Jazz are last at 4-16 — and applying for a transfer to the Eastern Conference. Just kidding.

Utah lost at home Wednesday to Indiana 95-85. On the bright side for the Jazz, forward Derrick Favors had 22 points and 17 rebounds, and center Enes Kanter had 20 and 10, and rookie point guard Trey Burke had 13 points and a career-high nine assists.

Utah is 1-9 on the road.

The second of five consecutive road games has Portland at Edmonton, 6 p.m. PT.

Could be a tough game for the Hawks, who lead the WHL with 45 points (21-5-2-1). Portland beat the Oil Kings 4-2 in last year's WHL finals, after losing to Edmonton 4-3 in the 2012 championship series.

Edmonton has won three in a row and is 8-2 in its last 10. It's also Teddy Bear Toss night.

The Oil Kings are fifth in the Eastern Conference at 17-9-0-1. This is the only time they will play Portland in the regular season.
