Blazers

Portland (21-4) stops at Cleveland (9-14) for a 4 p.m. PT game (CSNNW).

Portland takes a 10-0 record against Eastern Conference teams into the third game of its four-game trip.

Cleveland is 7-3 at home.

Portland power forward LaMarcus Aldridge has been named NBA Western Conference player of the week for the third time this season and second week in a row. The only other Blazer to win the honor three times in a season was Clyde Drexler in 1987-88 and 1990-91.

The Cavaliers' leader is point guard Kyrie Irving (20.9 points, 5.8 assists per game). He was the NBA Eastern Conference player of the week for last week.

Seven-footer Andrew Bynum starts in the middle for the Cavs and is averaging 8.3 points and 5.0 rebounds. Ex-Blazers guard Jarrett Jack comes off the bench and is giving Cleveland 9.9 points per game.

Indiana lost 101-96 Monday to Detroit, giving the Blazers the best record in the NBA. The Blazers beat the Pistons 111-109 in overtime on Sunday.

Indiana is 20-4, Oklahoma City 19-4, San Antonio 19-5 and Miami 18-6.

Winterhawks

Everett comes to Memorial Coliseum for a 7 p.m. game. The series between top U.S. Division contenders stands at 1-1. The Silvertips have lost their last four games but remain second in the division, four points behind Portland.

College women's basketball

Portland State travels to Atlanta for one game, against Georgia Tech, at 4 p.m. PT. The Jackets are 6-2, the Vikings 2-5.

Georgia Tech coach MaChelle Joseph (199-124 in 10-plus seasons) is looking for her 200th victory at the school.
