Travis Green

(age 43)

Green was an assistant coach with the Portland Winterhawks from 2008-13 and took over as acting head coach last season after the suspension of coach/general manager Mike Johnston by the Western Hockey League for player-benefit violations.

Green led the Hawks to the Memorial Cup and a WHL championship.GREEN

The former player now is head coach of the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League.

Green, a center, was drafted 23rd overall by the NHL New York Islanders in 1989 and played for five teams during a 14-year career. He appeared in 857 games, scoring 182 goals and getting 249 assists.
