Calvin Natt

The former Trail Blazers and NBA small forward was born on this day in Monroe, La.

The 6-6, 220-pound Natt, who attended the University of Louisiana-Monroe, began his NBA career in 1979 with the New Jersey Nets, who drafted him No. 8 overall in the first round.

He came to the Blazers in 1980 and played five seasons for Portland.

He went on to play for Denver, San Antonio and Indiana, as well, wrapping up his pro career in 1990.

He made the NBA All-Star Game in 1995 while with the Nuggets and finished with 10,291 total NBA points.

With Portland, he played in 333 regular-season games, starting 225 and averaging 17.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
