The Portland Winterhawks have added a veteran goaltender, Corbin Boes, for the second half of the Western Hockey League season.

He comes from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for forward Steven Alldridge and a second-round pick in the 2014 WHL bantam draft.

Boes, who is in his 20-year-old WHL season, has 51 career wins, a goals against average of 3.52 and a .901 save percentage in 152 games over four seasons with Lethbridge and the Brandon Wheat Kings.BOES

Alldridge had played 24 games in his first season with the Hawks, with no points.

The WHL trade deadline is 11 a.m. PT Friday.
