Jim Loscutoff

(age 84)

Loscutoff was a star forward at the University of Oregon for two years, then went on to win seven NBA championships with Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics.

At 6-5 and 220 pounds, he was known as a tough defender, with the nickname "Jungle Jim."

From Palo Alto, Calif., Loscutoff played for coach Red Auerbach and the Celtics from 1955-64, averaging 6.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
