Winterhawks get everyone into the act, win 11th in a row

Portland got its 11th win in a row. The Hawks also won 11 straight this season, from Oct. 12-Nov. 2.
Seventeen of the Winterhawks' 18 skaters had at least one point.
The Hawks led 4-0 after one period, 6-0 through two periods and 7-0 after 2:36 of the third frame.
WHAT IT MEANS
The Winterhawks maintained a four-point lead over second-place Seattle in the Western Hockey League U.S. Division. The Thunderbirds are 8-2 in their last 10 games. With Spokane in third place, eight points behind Seattle and 12 in back of Portland going into the final quarter of the regular season, the division race is close to becoming a two-team battle.
Nicolas Petan and Alex Schoenborn each had two goals. Petan added an assist to his league-leading total, now 62.
Defenseman Josh Hanson had a career-high three assists.
Oliver Bjorkstrand had a goal and two assists, as did Keegan Iverson.
Portland's special teams were effective. The Hawks scored on three of four power plays, and they killed four of five penalties.
The Hawks outshot the Ams 46-32.
Goalie Brendan Burke's shutout streak reached 174 minutes, 57 seconds until Tri-City scored midway through the third period. Burke finished with 29 saves. He has a 30-10-2-2 record this season.
Petan and Bjorkstrand remain 2-3 in WHL scoring. Petan has 29 goals and 62 assists for 91 points. Bjorkstrand is at 39-42-81.
Four Hawks scored in the 4-0 first period. In order, Bjorkstrand (power play), Petan, Schoenborn and captain Taylor Leier found the net.
