Oregon State beat Utah 60-47 at Corvallis, but Oregon lost at home to Colorado 81-75.
Beavers fifth in Pac-12
Oregon State improved to 7-5 in conference play and 5-0 in Pac-12 games at Gill Coliseum, downing Utah 60-47 on Monday night.
The Utes were trailing 40-39 midway through the second half, but OSU went on a 20-8 run and made 7 of its last 12 field-goal attempts.
Center Ruth Hamblin scored 17 points and 14 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season to lead the Beavers. She had 12 points in the last 11:37 and helped the Beavs outscore Utah 30-14 in the paint.
Gabriella Hanson added 14 points for OSU.
Utah fell to 3-9 in the Pac-12.
Overall, Oregon State is 15-9, Utah 10-13.
In the Pac-12, Stanford leads with an 11-1 record, Arizona State is 9-3, Cal and USC are 8-4, and then Oregon State has a one-game edge on Washington and Washington State (both 6-6), with UCLA at 5-7.
The Beavers' next game also is at home, against Utah at 7 p.m. Friday.
Colorado clips Ducks at the end
A slow start and foul trouble hampered Oregon, and then Colorado outscored the Ducks 6-0 in the final minute as the Buffaloes won 81-75 at Eugene on Monday night.
Chrishae Rowe's 23 points led the Ducks, and foul-plagued Jillian Alleyne finished with 15 points and nine rebounds. She drew her fourth personal with 11:55 remaining.
Oregon trailed by 15 in the first half and took the lead at 46-45. Colorado surged ahead 61-51, but the Ducks responded again, tying the score at 73-73 and 75-75 before the Buffs hit a jumper and four consecutive free throws to prevail.
The Ducks fell to 4-8 in the Pac-12 and 13-10 overall. Colorado is 4-8, 14-9.
Oregon returns to Matthew Knight Arena on Friday to meet USC at 7:30 p.m.
