    L&C improved to 7-5 in the Northwest Conference, 14-7 overall.

    The Pios are tied for fourth with George Fox heading into Saturday night's game at Pacific (sixth at 7-6). Puget Sound is third at 8-5.

    The top four teams make the NWC tournament.

    Adam Herman's 25 points led the way for the visiting Cavaliers, who improved to 9-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and 20-6 overall.

    Concordia is third behind College of Idaho (13-2) and Southern Oregon (10-5) and just ahead of Warner Pacific (8-6), Northwest (8-7), Northwest Christian (8-7) and Oregon Tech (8-7). The Cavs play Saturday night at Evergreen (2-13).

    At Olympia, Wash., the Knights won the second half 53-39, shooting 58.1 percent from the field after intermission, to win the game.

    WPC improved to 14-12 overall, 8-6 in the CCC.

    Doug Thomas led four Knights in double figures with 19 points.
