Oregon State's No. 1-ranked baseball team picked up another individual honor on Monday.
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association bestowed first-team Freshman All-America status to OSU's Jake Mulholland.
Mulholland is a 6-2, 190-pound freshman from Snohomish, Washington.
He has been a reliever for the Pac-12 champion Beavers, who are one of eight teams in the College World Series, which starts this week at Omaha, Nebraska.
Mulholland has a 6-1 record and 1.31 ERA in 48 innings. He has six saves and 27 appearances.
Opponents have hit .195 against him, with 41 strikeouts and 11 walks.
