The Oregon Ducks men's tennis team has claimed two elite honors from the Pac-12.
Nils Schyllander has been named the conference coach of the year, and sophomore Thomas Laurent has been voted to the all-conference team.
Schyllander led the Ducks to a repeat appearance in the NCAA tournament. Oregon had 19 victories for the second year in a row and finished at No. 24 in the national rankings — in the top top 25 for the first time.
In 11 seasons as head coach of the Ducks, Schyllander is 156-113.
Laurent, from Montpellier, France, went 30-7 in singles, breaking the program's single-season wins mark. He was 20-4 at the No. 1 position. He had an 18-match win streak.
Also for Oregon, senior Jayson Amos and junior Akihiro Tanaka made Pac-12 honorable mention.
Amos finished his UO career as the school's all-time wins leader. He was 93-34.
Tanaka was 16-8 in singles and was the ITA Northwest Rookie of the Year.
