On Wednesday, July 11, in a game that takes 1 hour, 30 minutes, the Portland Beavers defeat the Pacific Coast League-leading San Francisco Seals 2-1 in Portland.

The game was delayed several minutes while a San Francisco player had his thumb bandaged after being spiked by a Bevos base runner.

The afternoon contest takes place at Recreation Park on 24th and Vaughn streets.

The Beavers beat the Seals, 3-2, again on Thursday, July 12, in a matinee before about 1,500 fans. This game lasts a lengthy 1:50.
