• The No. 6-seeded Vikings posted a comfortable quarterfinal victory over third seed EWU in the Big Sky tournament at Reno, Nevada.

Portland State will face Idaho in the semifinals at 2:30 p.m. PT Friday.

The championship game is noon Saturday.

Four Viks scored in double figures as PSU went to 2-0 in the tourney. Sidney Rielly and Ashley Bolston each had 20 points, Courtney West 17 and Kylie Jimenez 12 points.

The Vikings trailed 25-19 after one quarter on Wednesday, but led 37-35 at the half and won the third quarter, 29-19.

PSU won despite going 1 of 13 from 3-point range to the Eagles' 12 of 28.

The Vikings had the edge in points off turnovers, 21-11, and in the paint, 44-20.

Portland State improved to 18-12, while Eastern Washington bowed out at 17-13.
