SUNDAY SPORTS NEWS/Ducks, Tar Heels to meet in Saturday's NCAA Final Four//Former Oregon golfer Aaron Wise 3rd in Web.com Tour event

It'll be a No. 1 seed, North Carolina, against the Oregon Ducks in the Final Four.

The Tar Heels (31-7) defeated No. 2 seed Kentucky 75-73 Sunday night on Luke Maye's jump shot with 0.3 seconds left at FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Wildcats finished their season with a 32-6 record.

North Carolina will be making its second consecutive trip to the Final Four and its 20th all-time.

The Tar Heels and Ducks will meet at 5:49 p.m. Saturday in Glendale, Arizona.

The other NCAA Division I men's baskeball semifinal game is 3:09 p.m. Saturday, with Gonzaga taking on South Carolina.

Former University of Oregon standout Aaron Wise finished third Sunday in the Web.com Tour's Chitimacha Louisiana Open in Broussard, Louisiana.

Wise had a final-round 64, 7-under par, at Le Triomphe Golf & Country Club to total 17-under 267.

The winner, Casey Wittenberg, fired a closing 69 for a 263 total and three-stroke victory over China's Xinjun Zhang.

Wise, a 20-year-old rookie who won the NCAA championship in 2016, finished strong, making birdies on the 15th, 16th and 17th holes.

The South African already is making a good run at getting full-time his PGA Tour card for next season via the Web.com circuit. He tied for 12th and 52nd in his other Web.com Tour starts. He's also made the cut in four of six PGA Tour events dating to October.
