Highway 30 reopens after landslide near St. Johns Bridge

Highway 30 was reopened early Thursday morning, 22 hours after a landslide forced the highway's closure east of the St. Johns Bridge.

The slide pushed large trees onto the highway around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 29.

Crews were able to reopen the road at about midnight Thursday, May 30. Traffic was flowing normally through the area for the morning commute.
