Portland police are looking for a white man in his 20s who is suspected in a Wednesday morning carjacking in an east Portland neighborhood.

Police said the man with an average build, wearing a dark shirt and a baseball cap forced a 43-year-old woman from her white 1992 Toyota Celica at about 6:22 a.m. July 31 on Northeast Glisan Street near 100th Avenue. The woman was not hurt in the carjacking.

The woman told police the man pulled her from the car and drove west on Glisan. The man didn’t use a weapon in the assault, police said.

The Celica has a large dent on the passenger side, a spoiler on the back and a dinged up trunk. Its license number is 302BBR.

Late Wednesday, police said the car was recovered in the Eastport Plaza parking lot.
