Oregon City police charged a 34-year-old man Monday evening with the early Sunday morning stabbing death of his domestic partner.

Police said Tony Lopez Lozano will be arraigned in Clackamas County Circuit Court Tuesday on a murder charge after his partner, 42-year-old Brian Romo, was found stabbed to death early Sunday morning, Aug. 25, at a home in the 1000 block of Hazelwood Drive.

Romo died from a stab wound to the chest.

Clackamas County Major Crimes detectives arrested Lozano at about 6:45 p.m. Aug. 26 during their investigation into Romo’s death.
