Man, woman seriously hurt in early morning Aloha fire
Two people were seriously injured early Wednesday morning in a fire that damaged an Aloha home.
A woman trapped on the second floor of the house was taken to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment of what firefighters said were life-threatening injuries. A man also suffered life-threatening injuries as he tried to escape the blaze.
Their names and medical conditions were not released.
Crews from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescues Aloha Station 62 began battling the blaze at about 3:15 a.m. Oct. 23 at 2440 S.W. 214th Place. Firefighters were discovered that a woman was trapped on the homes second floor. They carried her out through the flames and took her to the hospital.
Two other occupants escaped the fire, but one man sustained life-threatening injuries. He also was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The fire was knocked down in about 10 minutes. Investigators are trying to determine the fires cause. No damage estimate has been released.
Firefighters from the Hillsboro Fire Department assisted in the incident.
