by: PORTLAND FIRE & RESCUE - No one was injured in this fire that damaged a Southeast Portland house.A vacant house reportedly frequented by transients caught fire Tuesday morning.

No one was injured in the fire, which heavily damaged the house at Southeast 92nd and Foster.

Responding fire crews were told the house might be occupied but found no one inside of it. Additional crews assisted with extinguishing the fire, which was visible from outside the structure.

The fire was reported around 7:30 a.m. and controlled by 8:10 a.m. Clackamas Fire District No. 1 also assisted in the response.

The cause and damage estimate were not immediately released.
