A 35-year-old man died Monday evening after a medical episode on a TriMet bus in North Portland.

Portland police said the man was pronounced dead after medical personnel carried him off the bus and attempted CPR. The man’s name has not been released.

North Precinct transit officers said that at about 7:45 p.m. Jan. 20, the man was riding a TriMet bus at North Interstate Avenue and Lombard Street when he suffered some kind of medical episode. Medical personnel responded after a 911 call but were unable to revive the man.
