Police have identified the pedestrian hit by two cars on Southeast 82nd Avenue on Sunday evening.
He is Frank Grammer, 61, who remains in critical condition at a Portland hospital.

According to police, at 7:12 p.m. on Jan. 26, East Precinct officers responded to Southeast 82nd Avenue and Raymond Street on the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Officers and medical personnel arrived and located an adult male pedestrian, later identified as Grammer, suffering traumatic injuries. He was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment.
The investigation revealed Grammer was struck by a southbound Mazda Protege driven by Monsrud. Grammer was thrown up and over the vehicle and landed in the street, where he was struck a second time by a 2005 Volkswagen Passat Wagon, driven by a 64-year-old male.
The investigation is continuing. Once it is complete, the results will be forwarded to the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office for review.
