Guns, drugs and money seized in raid
The Metro Gang Task Force arrested three men on a variety of drug-related charges Thursday morning.
Investigators seized two firearms, counterfeit US currency, and quantities of Oxycontin, cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, ecstasy, and marijuana.
The men are identified as: Sonny Phosakham, 25; Teng Cha, 22; and Christopher Phomsopha, 29.
According to police, at 4:45 a.m. on April 3, the Portland Police Bureau's Special Emergency Reaction Team served a search warrant at a residence in the 9500 block of North Buchanan Avenue in connection with an ongoing investigation being conducted by the task force.
The task force is a multi-agency anti-gang effort that includes representatives from the Portland Police Bureau; the Beaverton Police Department; the Tigard Police Department; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms; the Federal Bureau of Investigation; the Department of Homeland Security; the United States Attorney's Office, District of Oregon; and, the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office.
