Female body found at home of missing woman
A Portland missing person case is now a murder investigation.
On Tuesday, homicide detectives and criminalists from the Forensic Evidence Division located the remains of an adult female on the property located at 3934 Northeast 66th Avenue.
Police had earlier asked the public to help locate a tenant at the residence, Renee Suzanne Sandidge-Crowell, 59. Preliminary information indicates that the body her.
The owner of the property, Gary Alan Lewis, 61, is now wanted for Murder and detectives are asking for the public's help in locating him.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office will determine the body's positive identification and conduct an autopsy.
